Xbox one s squeaking noise i bought a brand new xbox one s a couple of days ago and it started making a squeaky noise that is very annoying.
Hi yan it s really simple to change the bearing you can remove the fan without have to remove the heatsink.
It sounds like it s coming from the very back of the xbox one s.
It worked fine for about 3 months but i like over playing on it for about 9 hours a day so possibly it over heated 1 too many times.

It seems my fan is making this whirring noise but it doesn t sound like it s physically grinding on anything but something sounds off some described it as simply a cheap fan making noise but i am not sure i know ms support is usually the best way to ask but they have been unhelpful as i have went through 3 systems with the same.
So leaves me to believe it s either the power or fan chirping squeaking but when listening to it more from last night i think it s the power area because the squaking chirping isn t coming from the fan when listening to it.
I suggest you change the fan to a custom one like corsair or another pc fan it s really simple look.

Hey guys my xbox one is making an obnoxious squeaky noise its coming from the fan and i m wondering if i should spend the 2 weeks waiting to get it repaired afraid to after seeing and hearing other people s stories or could i just take it to my nearest ms store.
This one issue i am having with my machine.
